Laura has lived her life in the beautiful Grand Traverse area. The past many years have been in Leelanau County, Michigan where she has raised her 6 children. Laura enjoys encouraging people to follow their dreams. Over the years she’s been a full time home-schooling mom and managed several businesses: a taxidermy studio, an angus beef operation, and started her own full service property management business. As a licensed Real Estate Broker for the past 20 years she has been managing vacation rentals on Glen Lake and 10 years ago expanded her Real Estate career by joining Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realtors in Traverse City. She also currently continues as CTDE for her family (Chief Training and Development Executive), spent many years singing women’s barbershop 4-part harmony with her local chapter of Sweet Adeline’s International – The Grand Traverse Show Chorus and continues to be an advocate for victims of exploitation by spreading awareness about Human Trafficking. Amidst this adventurous dance of life she appreciates the company of good people, time with her animal menagerie, the great Northern Michigan outdoors, and music in its many forms.
